Introduction

Ignite is a Final Fantasy XIV Free Company based on Sargatanas, with members interested in the spectrum of content from crafting and gathering to Alexander Savage. We welcome new and experienced players who would like to join our ranks.

Purpose

Ignite has two primary goals. We are home, providing community, friendship, and assistance for our members. Stemming from that primary purpose, we embrace and support the goals of our members.

Communication

The majority of our members loiter on our Mumble server while in-game. Obviously, we use the FC channel for in-game communication. Many of our members use Google Hangouts to communicate outside of the game, and we are considering creating an FC Hangout.

Guidelines
  • Respect your FC mates.
  • Enjoy your time in the game.
  • Help others.
  • Wearing our tag, you represent Ignite. Make us proud.

Recruitment

Players both new to Final Fantasy XIV and veterans of its many roads are welcome in Ignite. We're not picky about how you apply - please feel free to use the in-game or Guildwork [pending] applications, or contact one of the officers (below).

Officers

  • Alinestra Covelia (on alt, Sprinkles Rainbowdash)
  • Coren Kelyn
  • Kalinas Luminas
  • Kaizer Furian
  • Nikkiya Bellafyr

Loot

For FC events, loot will be distributed based on each member's stated job priority. Please document your primary, secondary, and tertiary jobs in the roster wiki, or notify an officer if you need help. Note that you may be asked to greed with another member who shares the same primary job. For example, players one and two are both primary Bards. However, in order to fit the requirements for the instance in question, player two is playing on a Warrior, her secondary job. Bow of Fire Gamma drops, and both players one and two would like to have it. We ask that both players greed in this case, to avoid penalizing player two for being flexible and helping on her Warrior secondary.

In addition to the above, the following will take effect for difficult, farmable content. Each player will be allowed to choose one item per instance that will be placed at a priority higher than the above system. Players may choose any item, regardless of other player choice, and may switch until the fight commences. Once a player has received her selected item, she may choose another after sitting out for one clear. She may still receive loot through the normal primary-secondary-tertiary system. The second selected item will be placed at a lower priority than the first choices of the other FC members.

The purpose of this additional loot system is to encourage our experienced players to help those newer to the content, while still having most items drop to our usual primary-secondary-tertiary system. Please ask for clarification if this is unclear.

Housing

The Free Company house is meant to be a fun past time for our members. Members have the privilege to move housing items around in order to redecorate. Once an item gets placed on Free Company property, it becomes property of the Free Company. However, please be respectful to the member who placed the item. If you are planning a complete makeover of the Free Company house and you aren't sure if certain items should be kept please discuss your intentions with an officer.
